GCTV is Right!
Owner Jeff Maltby was born and raised in Lansing. He realized that the Lansing area lacked a restaurant that featured authentic homemade Italian food at an affordable price.
Our namesake and recipes have been passed down from Jeff's grandfather, Carmelo Stornante, who changed his name at Ellis Island to Carmen Stornant.
At Carmelo's, we offer a variety of fine Italian entrees. Try fresh veal cutlets done 5 different ways. How about Eggplant Parmasiana, Chicken Marsala, or handmade sausage and peppers? Sample the New York style pizzas and calzones! Don't forget the traditional spaghetti with a quarter pound of hand rolled meatballs!
We carry the largest selection of Italian beers in the area and always the best wine!
